Prom 2009

Perhaps I am hopelessly sentimental but I enjoy going to formal dances like I did when I was young. However, now I meet fellow teachers who used to be my students and they introduce me to their own children. Anyway, this year I hopped on the subway and went to the prom. No, I didn't need a limo to get there. Here is a short video of students and their dates going in.

A benefit of being older now is that I no longer feel the need for being "cool", and I can just be who I am and enjoy myself. One might as well enjoy the benefits of age as their don't seem to be too many of them. I hope you enjoyed the video.
